I have I remember when Eragon first came out heh. Not my sort of books though. I'm currently reading a book called Guardians of the key by Clio Gray. It's like The Da Vinci Code but much better!.

I just finished a book called 'Nothing But The Truth' in reading. It was a bit odd, but I would read it again.

I used to love the Warriors series. Now it's overdone and just... ugh it's not fun to read anymore.

I also used to love the Black Stallion books but they're kinda dull now lol.

So I guess I don't have a favorite series yet, but I want to stab anyone who loves the Twilight books. =__= (with the exception of sexilicious katykins)

I do wonder why the Twilight books are so popular... no, wait, I don't. I'd say it's obvious. But eh.

Favorite book is probably 'Invisible Monsters' by Chuck Palahniuk. But everything I've read by him is amazing. Recently finished 'Haunted', and, well... wow.

The Song of Ice and Fire series By George Martin.
A series consisting of eight books (the sixth one will be out this year, hopefully).
The list of Books:
* A Game of Thrones (1996)
* A Clash of Kings (1998)
* A Storm of Swords (2000)
* A Feast for Crows (2005)
* A Dance with Dragons (forthcoming)
* The Winds of Winter (forthcoming)
* A Dream of Spring (forthcoming)

Heck yeah! One of the best fantasy series out there.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. The very definition of epic fantasy.

My favorite book is The Story of My Life by Helen Keller. It just amazes me to read a book authored by a disabled.

And for series... there are lots especially in manga, like Ouran High School Host Club

I have successfully translated "Snow Woman" (雪女 - Yuki Onna) from Japanese, and the Taiwanese book 微笑的魚("A Fish That Smiled At Me") from Mandarin. Both wonderfully amusing stories.

My favorite book is The Last dog on earth by: Daniel Ehrenhaft

its about a kid named Logan Moore.
Logan Moore hates everyone. The father who abandoned him. The stepfather who wants to control him. Kids who get in his face everyone.
Except Jack. A mangy mutt that nobody wants.
Except Logan. But Jack is in terrible danger. A mysterious disease is sweeping across the country. Turning dogs into vicious raging predators. Jack isn't infected but that wont keep her from the danger. People are shooting dogs on sight and asking questions later. Now Logan and Jack are on the run. There's nowhere they can turn and no one they can trust.
Except each other.

I'm really into the Gatekeepers series by Anthony Horowitz.!
They're my favorite series happy.png
But the Eragon series is pretty good as well, they just take forever for me to read.

A few days ago I finally finished reading the Royall Tyler translation of The Tale of Genji. It took me about two years of on-again-off-again reading, and now that I've finally completed all 1100+ pages, there's gonna be a big hole in my heart that I can only fill by collecting other translations/versions, and watching all the anime and movies of it.

It's a story that reads better than Shakespeare, and is rewarding for those who have the time and dedication to finish it. It's about as long as War and Peace, has romantic comedy and tragedy alike, covers the "Shining Prince" Hikaru Genji's whole life, and the anime Genji Monogatari Sennenki came out last year for the epic novel's 1,000 year anniversary.

Yup. Quickly replaced Anna Karenina as my Favorite Novel of All Time.
